Application Process
There are 3 steps to completing the application process. Applicants should:

Complete the online application form below |

Submit the following supporting information in the form of ONE Microsoft Word document (no larger than 5MB): |

a statement of purpose of not more than 1,000 words |
 |
a scanned electronic version of your academic transcript |
 |
a Curriculum Vitae |
 |
a scanned passport-sized photo |
| |
Please save your Microsoft Word document using the following format:
surname.first name.scholarship.app.doc
For example: smith.jane.scholarship.app.doc.
You will then be asked to attach it to your online application form. |

Mail an official hard copy version of your academic transcript to:

If you would like us to return your original transcript, please include a self-addressed envelope.
Applications open 9:00am (AEST) 22nd February 2010 and close 5:00pm (AEST) 19th March 2010.

Statement of Purpose
The Statement of Purpose must comply with the following formatting requirements:

lines spaced at 1.5 |
 |
margins no smaller than 2cm |
 |
font set at Times New Roman 12 point or Arial 11 point. |
In addition to providing reasons for applying for the scholarships, the Statement of Purpose should include relevant details of career history (if applicable), personal philosophy, aspirations and future career plans. It should include, where relevant, any native title experience. The selection committee will not consider statements over 1,000 words or any documents beyond those requested.

Referees
You can provide up to 3 referees who are able to comment on your academic or professional merit. One of those referees must be able to provide a personal character reference. Details of referees will remain confidential.
Please ensure that you have provided us with up-to-date email addresses. Please note that references will be requested via email. We will contact your referees between 6th April and 16th April 2010. If we are unable to contact your referee, or they do not respond to our email, we will not request further details; this could put your application at a disadvantage.
