 
Foundations of Native Title (FoNT)

Overview
FoNT is a three day program specifically designed for Native Title Representative Body (NTRB) staff who have been employed in native title for less than 12 months. The program is intended for all NTRB staff, including community liaison/field officers, administrative staff, lawyers, anthropologists and other research staff.
FoNT offers an introduction to working in native title and in an NTRB with participants acquiring and extending skills and knowledge related to their native title work.
Program topics and themes include:

Entry requirements
For all new staff at NTRBs and NTSPs. Not advised for repeat attendance as the content is the same as previous programs.

Continuing Legal Education Credits (for WA)
The Aurora Project is registered as a "Quality Assurance Provider" for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) in Western Australia. WA participants are eligible for 3 CLE credits following their completion of FoNT with the breakdown as follows:
- Legal Skills & Practice - 1 unit
- Values - 1 unit
- Legal Knowledge - 1 unit
