Not all programs will suit everyone. The following information provided should be considered prior to registration. Aurora’s Training and PD staff are available to assist in recommending suitable programs.

Foundations of Native Title (FoNT)For new staff working at NTRBs - includes administration, corporate services, field & community liaison officers, anthropologists & other researchers, legal staff and management
FOR RESEARCH STAFF
Research PracticesFor anthropologists, archeologists, historians and other research staff
FOR COMMUNITY LIAISON/FIELD OFFICERS
Community Liaison PracticesFor area officers, field officers, native title officers, project officers and community liaison staff working directly with traditional owners in a bi-cultural role or involved in logistical work associated with consulting with traditional owners. This program may also be suitable for PBC staff (where space allows).
FOR LEGAL STAFF
Native Title Law and PracticeFor lawyers new to native title work – up to 2 years working native title experience recommended.
Understanding ILUAsFor legal staff at NTRBs and PBCs (where space allows). Prior completion of Native Title Law and Practice is desirable, but not essential.
Legal MasterclassFor senior legal staff – PLOs and SLOs, or senior lawyers with four plus years of native title experience.
FOR FUTURE ACTS STAFF
Understanding Future ActsFor future acts officers, lawyers and other staff working on future acts and managing right to negotiate matters at NTRBs and PBCs (where space allows).
FOR STAFF INVOLVED IN NEGOTIATING AGREEMENTS
Agreement Making I  For experienced staff involved in agreement making – legal staff, senior community liaison officers, senior project managers and management at NTRBs and PBCs (where space allows).
Agreement Making II For senior NTRB staff including CEOs, PLOs, SLOs, Heads of Research, other senior managers involved in negotiating complex land based agreements. Prior attendance at Agreement Making is recommended.
SKILLS DEVELOPMENT
Strategic NegotiationFor experienced NTRB lawyers, management and senior community liaison/field officers, along with experienced staff working at PBCs (where space allows).
Conflict ManagementFor all staff at NTRBs and PBCs (where space allows) who encounter conflict as a part of their responsibilities, whatever their role in the organisation.
Project ManagementFor all staff at NTRBs and PBCs (where space allows) who have responsibility for managing single or multiple projects, whatever their role in the organisation or the size of their project.
FOR MANAGERS AND CORPORATE SERVICES STAFF
Management DevelopmentFor managers and other professionals who are playing an increasing role in the overall management of their NTRB and PBC (where space).
Human ResourcesFor both new and experienced staff with responsibilities for human resources at NTRBs and PBCs (where space allows).
Executive DevelopmentFor CEOs and general managers.
